KPK Government Launches Insaf Female Education Card

Insaf Female Education Card

This is a big step that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government took to the empowerment of women and their equality in terms of education with the introduction of Insaf Female Education Card. The Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi launched the historic project, which promises to provide free higher education to thousands of female students and worthwhile orphans.

Steps for Female Students

At the ceremony of the launching of the program, CM Sohail Afridi declared that the program will be beneficial to an impressive 55,000 female students in the entire province.

Our priority will be to empower women by educating them more, said Chief Minister Afridi. Women are the pillars of a successful and enlightened society and they should be educated.

The Insaf Female Education Card is being celebrated as a ray of hope and gender equality and is set to give higher learning a chance to every girl irrespective of her background and will greatly increase the girl’s involvement in the development of KP.

Support for Orphan Students

The Chief Minister also announced in a very touching gesture, that orphan students, who successfully pass the MDCAT entry test will be given free higher education as well. This will make sure that none of the needy students will be unable to pursue their dreams due to financial constraints.

Education and Employment

Since academic success is closely related to employment opportunities, CM Afridi also instructed the relevant authorities to introduce a new internship initiative among graduates with a Bachelor and Master level as soon as possible. This is a program that is to prepare the youth with the hands-on experience to fit in seamlessly into the professional life.

The Chief Minister reiterated his government commitment to create equal opportunities and then declared to allocate more budget to educate women during the next fiscal year in a bid to make Khyber Pakhtunkhawa a role model province in terms of female higher education.
