Note: The KMU-CAT score remains valid for one academic year. Candidates wishing to improve their previous test scores may register again for subsequent phases.

A KMU-CAT score is mandatory for admission to the following programs at constituent and affiliated institutes:
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm-D)
- BS Nursing (General)
- BS Allied Health Sciences (Anesthesia, MLT, Radiology, Surgical Technology, etc.)
- BS Public Health and BS Human Nutrition & Dietetics
- BS Optometry, Speech & Language Therapy, and Occupational Therapy
Eligibility and Test Format
Eligibility: Candidates who have passed FSc Pre-Medical (or an equivalent examination) or are currently awaiting intermediate results.
Test Format:
Total Questions: 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
Duration: 90 minutes (1.5 hours)
Negative Marking: None
Test Centers: Available in major districts including Peshawar, Islamabad, Swabi, Mardan, Malakand, Swat, Lower Dir, Hazara, Kohat, Bannu, D.I. Khan, Haripur, Chitral, and Parachinar.
How to Apply Online
- Visit the official KMU portal.
- Create an account using a valid CNIC or B-Form number.
- Fill in the profile details, select your preferred test center, and generate the fee payment voucher.
- Pay the registration processing fee at any branch of the Bank of Khyber (BOK)
- Download and print the roll number slip once it is issued prior to the test date.
