Option 1: If You Got a Supply (Compartment)
In case you have failed in one or two subjects, there is no need for you to restart the complete academic year.
Apply For Supplementary Exams: Examination boards will open supplementary exams application process within the next few days.
Submit the Form Get the supplementary admission form from your respective board’s official online portal or college authority. Submit it along with fees within the designated period.
Study Hard There is hardly 40 to 45 days between result announcement and supplementary exams start. Focus completely on those subjects.
Option 2: If You Think Your Performance Is Better Than Marks Obtained (Paper Rechecking)
If you think your actual performance is better than the marks obtained by you, then you could apply for paper rechecking/recounting.
Rechecking Application: Submit your online rechecking application on the official website of your board within 15 days of announcement of the result.
Rechecking Coverage The board examiners will recount your total marks, verify whether all answers were marked or not, and confirm correct transfer of marks into the main result sheet.
Option 3: If You Have Failed in Complete Year
Failing in intermediate year may prove to be disappointing, but by adopting a few systematic ways, you can recover:
Improvement / Full Repeat: You can appear as a full-time or private candidate in the next annual examination cycle to improve your overall result.
Find Out Weak Areas: Analyze your result sheet and find out which subjects brought your percentage down i.e., whether science practical or theoretical papers or humanities subjects were weak areas.
Find an Alternative Way of Education: Enroll yourself in diploma programs, technical/vocational training courses or skill-based certification such as IT, Digital Marketing, Graphic Design etc that accept matriculation qualifications.
