Education Authority has started to take measures against some of these schools which have opened their doors despite official government warning to close down. Administrations of these institutions given show-cause notices instructing them to come and give personal hearings to clarify what they have done.
Notices Sent to Schools
Leading institutions have also been facing a crackdown as is reported by a private news channel. Lyceum School GT Road, Honors Kindergarten School GT Road and the Beacon house School Boys and Girls Campus on the Township have been served notices.
There is also a list of institutions under examination and those include other campuses of Beacon house located in Gulberg and Johar Town as well. This is followed by the move to Allied School around the Railway headquarters, MUKAF Learning Campus around Metro Station, The Punjab School Canal Garden, Dimension School and The Educators Sehar Campus.
This directive acts as a direct retaliation by the Education Authority that the schools decided to resume academic activities despite the explicit orders of the government. The leadership of the institutions that have been implicated now are in a position to defend their actions and an explanation to their defiance is now necessary.
This action is a reinforcement to the move by the Authority to enforce government directives and to make sure that there would be compliance in the education sector.
